NEXT TRIP
The Wirral Transport Users Association has organised a train excursion on the Churnet Valley Railway on Sat 12th September 2026.
A coach will take us from various Wirral pickup points to the railway terminus at Froghall. We will travel steam-hauled to Ipstones (no disembarking); firstly through the pretty wooded Churnet valley accompanied for part of the way by the Caldon Canal, then up onto the Staffordshire moorlands at Ipstones. On the way to Froghall we will have over an hour to look round the charming market town of Nantwich and on the way home we will have about an hour in Leek, the Queen of the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Non-members are welcome on the trip. We need to have an idea of numbers by 22nd August, so please try and send in your application by then - late applications may be accepted subject to coach space availability.
